The AMPLO is our extra-large tote bag. We designed it for all those moments when you just need to carry a lot: a family trip to the lake, a big weekly grocery shop, ski boots, laundry, or a package that needs to go to the post office.
It features a spacious main compartment and an interior zippered pocket for keys and a wallet. On the outside, there is an open pocket for items you need quick access to, and a G-hook between the handles keeps the bag closed while carrying. You can carry it by hand or over your shoulder.
The AMPLO is crafted from half-linen, a water-repellent blend of linen and organic cotton, with vegetable-tanned leather details. It is lightweight, durable, and easy to clean. When you are not using it, simply fold it flat, and it will wait patiently for the next outing.

MATERIAL & CARE
Half-linen
Half-linen is a blend of linen and organic cotton, woven in Germany. The linen provides natural strength, while the organic cotton offers softness. The fabric is water-repellent, hard-wearing, and pleasantly lightweight.
Care: Brush off loose dirt while dry first. Remove small stains with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, preferably without soap. For a more thorough cleaning, work in some mild soapy water (a mild shampoo or wool detergent works well) with a soft brush, then wipe with clear water to ensure no soap residue remains in the fabric. Pat the fabric dry with a towel and let it air dry, keeping it away from heaters and direct heat. Please do not machine wash the half-linen.
Vegetable-tanned leather
The details are made of vegetable-tanned leather. Over time, they develop a patina that becomes richer through touch, light, and use.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Balance out water spots or dry areas by rubbing the damp cloth over the spot and the surrounding surface. About once a year, the leather appreciates a natural, colorless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect it. Ensure that none of it gets on the fabric, as it may cause stains.
Hardware
The G-hook between the handles requires no special care.
Natural materials change over time. Colors may darken slightly or become softer, which is a testament to what your bag is made of.
