Aside from the magnetic closures, thread, and straps, the school bag is made almost entirely from renewable raw materials. Our goal is to increase this to 100%. More info about our materials.
The water-repellent fabric is made from recycled marine plastic (from SEAQUAL INITIATIVE yarn), manufactured in Portugal. The felt used on the inside provides stability and comfort. The edges and bottom of the bag are made of vegetable-tanned leather, which offers reliable protection during the rough-and-tumble of daily school life. For additional comfort, the back area and the length-adjustable straps are padded. Piping made of reflective tape increases visibility in the dark. The magnetic buckles can be opened easily with a downward pull.
Interior with well-thought-out organization
The interior is clearly structured:

Two main compartments: A compartment against the back, so that the weight is as close to the body as possible, and a front compartment for lighter school supplies.

Additional details: Inside the flap, there is a strap with a snap hook as well as a zippered compartment for personal items. A webbing loop inside keeps the water bottle securely in place. Alternatively, the bottle can also be attached to the snap hook so that it stands upright (provided the bag is also standing upright).

Separate compartments: Folders and books are protected in a separate compartment made of water-repellent cotton.
Our experience shows that the satchel fits most children so well that a chest strap is unnecessary. However, if desired, a chest strap can be ordered additionally.

In our experience, the satchel sits so well that a chest strap is not strictly necessary. But if an even better fit is desired, it can optionally be ordered. It is sewn on directly.
