The IKASI is the big brother of our BABY IKASI, made for older school children and
adults. It has the same clean shape and enough space for everything a full day
needs.

On the front are two outer pockets for the things you want to have quickly at hand.
The flap closes with a magnetic FIDLOCK buckle, underneath which a drawstring
holds the contents together. Inside, there is a compartment for personal items and a
snap hook for keys.
The IKASI is made from water-repellent organic cotton, the padded back is made of
wool felt, and the side seams are trimmed with vegetable-tanned leather. It is sewn in
our studio in Berlin so that it will accompany you for many years.

Inside and out
On the front, there are two outer pockets in contrasting colors for the things that should
be easy to grab. Inside, you will find a compartment for personal items and a snap hook
for your keys.

Carrying comfort
The back panel is padded, and the shoulder straps are adjustable in length. This makes
the IKASI comfortable to carry all day long.

Closure
The flap closes with a magnetic G-Hook, which is simply slid into a loop.

MATERIAL & CARE

Organic cotton
The organic cotton is a triple-twisted Panama weave, woven and dyed in
Germany and Italy. This fabric was originally developed for workwear. It is
accordingly robust and abrasion-resistant while still feeling pleasantly soft. It is
impregnated with a PFC-free C0 finish that lets rain bead off and contains no
harmful chemicals.
Care: It is best to brush off loose dirt dry first. You can also simply shake out
dust, just like a cushion. Small stains can usually be removed with a slightly
damp microfiber cloth, ideally without any soap at all. For a more thorough
cleaning, work some mild soapy water (a mild shampoo or wool detergent works
well) into the fabric with a soft brush and then wipe with clear water. This ensures
no soap residue remains in the fabric, which could otherwise leave marks.
Pat the bag dry with a towel and let it air dry, keeping some distance from heaters
and direct heat.

Wool felt
The padded back panel is made of wool felt from Italy, consisting of 75% recycled
wool from New Zealand and 25% polyester. It is breathable, balances warmth
and coolness, and gives the backpack its shape.
Care: The felt is protected on the inside and requires no special care. If something
should spill, dab the area with a damp cloth and leave the bag open to air dry.

Vegetable-tanned leather
The side seams are trimmed with vegetable-tanned leather from Italy, where the
backpack is subjected to the most stress. Over time, the leather develops a patina
that becomes deeper through touch, light, and use.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Balance
out water spots or dry areas by rubbing the damp cloth over the spot and the
surrounding area. About once a year, the leather appreciates a natural, colorless
leather wax or oil, which nourishes and protects it. Ensure that none of this gets onto
the fabric, as it can leave stains there.

Fittings
The magnetic closure is from FIDLOCK, the snap hook is made of aluminum. Both
require no special care.

Natural materials change over time. Colors may darken slightly or soften, and that is
precisely what shows what your bag is made of.
