The IKASI is the big brother of our BABY IKASI, made for older school children and
adults. It has the same clean design and enough space for everything a full day
requires.

On the front, there are two outer pockets for the things you want to have quickly at
hand. The flap closes with a magnetic FIDLOCK buckle, while a drawstring keeps the
contents secure underneath. Inside, there is a compartment for personal items and a
carabiner hook for your keys.
The IKASI is crafted from water-repellent organic cotton, the padded back is made of
wool felt, and the side seams are bound with vegetable-tanned leather. It is sewn in
our Berlin studio so that it can accompany you for many years.

Inside and out

Carrying comfort
The back panel is padded, and the shoulder straps are adjustable in length. This makes the
IKASI comfortable to carry all day long.

Closure
The flap closes with a magnetic G-Hook, which is easily slid into a loop.

MATERIAL & CARE

Organic Cotton
The organic cotton is a triple-twisted Panama weave, woven and dyed in
Germany and Italy. This fabric was originally developed for workwear. It is
accordingly robust and abrasion-resistant, yet feels pleasantly soft. It is treated
with a PFC-free C0 finish that causes rain to bead off and contains no harmful
chemicals.
Care: It is best to brush off loose dirt while dry. You can also simply shake out dust, just like a pillow. Small stains can usually be removed with a slightly
damp microfiber cloth, ideally without any soap. For a more thorough
cleaning, work a little mild soapy water (a mild shampoo or wool detergent
works well) into the fabric with a soft brush and then wipe it down with clear
water. This prevents soap residue from remaining in the fabric, which could otherwise leave marks.
Pat the bag dry with a towel and let it air dry, keeping some distance from heaters and direct heat.

Wool Felt
The padded back panel is made of wool felt from Italy, produced from 75% recycled wool from
New Zealand and 25% polyester. It is breathable, regulates temperature, and gives
the backpack its shape.
Care: The felt sits protected inside and does not require any special care. Should something spill, dab the area with a damp cloth and leave the bag open to air dry.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather
The side seams are bound with vegetable-tanned leather from Italy, specifically in areas where the
backpack experiences the most strain. Over time, the leather develops a patina that deepens
through touch, light, and use.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt.
You can even out water stains or dry spots by rubbing the area and the surrounding surface with a damp cloth. About once a year, the leather appreciates a natural, colorless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect it. Ensure that none of it gets onto the fabric, as it can leave stains.

Hardware
The magnetic closure is from FIDLOCK, and the carabiner is made of aluminum. Both require
no special care.

Natural materials change over time. Colors may darken slightly or become softer, and that is precisely where the quality of your bag shows.
