The LUA is a small, cheerful everyday bag with a lot of personality. It carries exactly what you need for a day in the city while sitting comfortably close to your body. You can carry it in your hand by the short leather handle or over your shoulder with the adjustable webbing strap. The G-hook can be hooked into several loops, allowing you to easily change how the LUA sits and how wide it is opened. Inside, there is a zippered pocket for everything you want to keep safe. The LUA is available in water-repellent organic cotton or half-linen, a blend of linen and organic cotton. The handle is made of vegetable-tanned leather and becomes even more beautiful over time.

MATERIAL & CARE
Organic Cotton
The organic cotton is a triple-twisted panama weave, woven and dyed in Germany and Italy. Originally developed for workwear, this fabric is appropriately robust and abrasion-resistant while still feeling pleasantly soft. It is treated with a PFC-free C0 finish that repels rain and contains no harmful chemicals.
Care: It is best to brush off loose dirt while dry. You can also simply shake out dust, just like a pillow. Small stains can usually be removed with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, ideally without any soap at all. For a more thorough cleaning, work some mild soapy water (a gentle shampoo or wool detergent works well) into the fabric with a soft brush and then wipe it down with clean water. This ensures no soap residue remains in the fabric, which could otherwise leave rings. Pat the bag dry with a towel and let it air dry, keeping it away from heaters and direct heat.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
The handle is made of vegetable-tanned leather from Belgium. Over time, it will soften and develop a patina that deepens with touch, light, and use.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. You can even out water spots or dry areas by rubbing the damp cloth over the spot and the surrounding surface. About once a year, the leather will appreciate a natural, colorless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect it. Make sure none of it gets on the fabric, as it can leave stains.
Webbing and Hardware
The webbing for the adjustable strap comes from Belgium; it is tightly woven and very durable. The G-hooks and hardware are made of aluminum.
Care: The webbing and hardware do not require special care. If needed, wipe them down with a damp cloth.
Natural materials change over time. Colors may darken slightly or soften, and that is exactly what shows what your bag is made of.
