The LUA is a small, cheerful everyday bag with a lot of personality. It carries exactly what
you need for a day in the city, while sitting comfortably close to the body.
You can carry it by the short leather handle or over your shoulder with the adjustable webbing
strap. The G-hook can be fastened into several loops, allowing you to easily adjust how
the LUA sits and how wide it opens. Inside, there is a
zippered pocket for everything you want to keep secure.
The LUA is available in water-repellent organic cotton or in half-linen, a blend
of linen and organic cotton. The handle is made of vegetable-tanned leather and becomes even more beautiful over time.

MATERIAL & CARE
Organic cotton
The organic cotton is a triple-twisted panama weave, woven and dyed in
Germany and Italy. This fabric was originally developed for workwear. It is
correspondingly robust and abrasion-resistant, yet feels pleasantly soft. It is treated
with a PFC-free C0 finish that makes rain bead off and requires no harmful
chemicals.
Care: It is best to brush off loose dirt while dry first. You can also simply shake out dust,
just like you would with a cushion. Small stains can usually be removed with a slightly
damp microfiber cloth, ideally without any soap. For a more thorough
cleaning, work a little mild soapy water (a mild shampoo or wool detergent works well)
into the fabric with a soft brush and then wipe it down with clean water. This ensures no
soap residue remains in the fabric, which could otherwise leave marks.
Pat the bag dry with a towel and let it air dry, away from radiators and direct heat.
Vegetable-tanned leather
The handle is made of vegetable-tanned leather from Belgium. Over time, it will become softer
and develop a patina that grows deeper with touch, light, and use.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt.
You can even out water spots or dry areas by rubbing the damp cloth over the spot and the surrounding area.
About once a year, the leather will appreciate a natural, colorless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect it.
Make sure none of it gets on the fabric, as it may leave stains.
Webbing and hardware
The webbing for the adjustable strap comes from Belgium; it is tightly woven and very
durable. The G-hook and hardware are made of aluminum.
Care: The webbing and hardware do not require any special care. If necessary, wipe them
with a damp cloth.
Natural materials change over time. Colors may darken slightly or soften, and that is precisely what shows what your bag is made of.
