This is our MOIRÉ, made entirely from vegetable-tanned leather. We have crafted it to be a companion for many years, and it will only get more beautiful with each one.
The leather is untreated. It becomes softer with use, darkens in the light, and collects the little traces of your days: the crease from a full shopping haul, the light scratch from a bicycle basket. This is how your MOIRÉ becomes a very personal piece over time.
Like every MOIRÉ, it can do two things: carry it by the leather handles in your hand, or use the adjustable straps on your back. Inside, there are three small pockets and a snap hook for keys; press studs close the rim at the top.

You can carry the MOIRÉ in your hand by the two leather handles or as a backpack with the adjustable straps.

MATERIAL & CARE
Vegetable-tanned leather
The body is made of vegetable-tanned leather from Spain, the handles from vegetable-tanned leather from Belgium. Both leathers are untreated and develop their own character with use: they become softer, darken in the light, and acquire a patina that deepens over time. Every trace the leather collects tells a part of the life the bag leads with you.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. You can even out water spots or dry areas by rubbing the area and the surrounding surface with the damp cloth. About once a year, the leather appreciates a natural, colorless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect it.
Webbing and hardware
The webbing for the adjustable straps comes from Belgium; it is tightly woven and very durable. Press studs keep the top edge closed, and the snap hook is made of aluminum.
Care: Webbing and hardware do not require special care. If necessary, simply wipe them clean with a damp cloth.
