This AZOKA has already lived a first life: its material was once a cinema banner. Instead of ending up in the trash, the mesh came to our studio, and we sewed it into our market bag. Because every banner was printed differently, each bag features a different piece of the old poster. No two look the same.
It has the open bucket shape of a Spanish market bag, and you can carry it in your hand, over your shoulder, or cross-body with the detachable strap. Inside, there is a zippered pocket for valuables and a snap hook for your keys, and a G-hook between the handles keeps the bag closed while you carry it.

Carrying
You can carry the AZOKA by its two handles in your hand or wear it over your shoulder or cross-body with the detachable strap.

MATERIAL & CARE
Upcycled Mesh
This mesh had a first life as a cinema banner. Instead of being disposed of, it came to us, and we turned it into a durable bag fabric. It resembles paper in its look, but it is very hard-wearing and will develop fine creases and gentle signs of wear over time, forming its own unique patina. Because every banner was printed differently, every bag is one of a kind.
Care: The mesh can join you in the shower. It can be cleaned with water, a little soap, and a soft brush. Afterward, simply let the bag air dry, keeping it away from radiators and direct heat.
Webbing and Hardware
The webbing for the straps and handles comes from Belgium; it is tightly woven and very durable. The snap hook is made of aluminum, in addition to the G-hook between the handles.
Care: The webbing and hardware do not require any special care. If necessary, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth.
