The VOIE is our weekender, made for short trips: two nights by the sea, a weekend with friends, a visit to the grandparents. Despite its generous volume, it remains uncluttered and easy to carry.
You can carry it by the leather handles, or wear it on your back as a backpack using the adjustable strap. A zipper closes the top edge so that everything stays safely inside. Inside there is a small pocket for valuables, outside two deep pockets for tickets, documents, and the book for the train journey.
The VOIE is made of water-repellent organic cotton, the handles of vegetable-tanned leather. At home, you can fold it flat and it fits on any shelf until your next trip.

MATERIAL & CARE
Organic Cotton
The organic cotton is a triple-twisted Panama weave, woven and dyed in Germany and Italy. Originally, this fabric was developed for workwear. It is correspondingly robust and abrasion-resistant, yet feels pleasantly soft. It is impregnated with a PFC-free C0 finish, which allows rain to bead off and does not require any harmful chemicals.
Care: It is best to brush off loose dirt while dry first. You can also simply shake dust out, just like a pillow. Small stains can usually be removed with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, preferably without soap. For a more thorough cleaning, work some mild soapy water (a mild shampoo or wool detergent works well) into the fabric with a soft brush and then wipe off with clear water. This ensures no soap residue remains in the fabric, which can otherwise leave marks. Dab the bag dry with a towel and let it air dry, away from radiators and direct heat.
Vegetable-tanned leather
The handles are made of vegetable-tanned leather from Belgium. Over time, they become softer and develop a patina that deepens through touch, light, and use.
Care: Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. You can even out water stains or dry spots by rubbing the damp cloth over the area and the surrounding surface. About once a year, the leather appreciates a natural, colorless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect it. Make sure that none of it gets on the fabric, as it can leave stains there. Natural materials change over time. Colors may darken slightly or become softer, and that is exactly where you can see what your bag is made of.
