Collaborations

Over the years, HÄNSKA has worked with a small and carefully chosen group of artists, designers and brands. Each collaboration begins with a shared understanding: of quality, of intention, of what it means to make something worth keeping.

Artists & Limited Editions

Some of our most personal work has come from our collaborations with artists. We invite creators whose visual language feels genuinely connected to what HÄNSKA stands for, and together we develop limited edition pieces that go beyond function into something closer to art.

David Lüpschen is an artist and animation director whose work is defined by an extraordinary sense of colour and form, and a rare ability to move between materiality, abstraction and motion. His print series for HÄNSKA schoolbags brought that sensibility into the hands, and onto the backs, of a new audience.

Raby-Florence Fofana is a Berlin-based artist and designer whose practice spans illustration, painting, collage and ceramics. Her abstract compositions and pattern work have shaped several collections for HÄNSKA, each one distinct and deeply considered.

Brand Collaborations

We have worked with brands who bring their own strong identity to the table and trust us to translate it into something physical and lasting. For Polaroid, we designed a camera bag that carried the spirit of the brand into a new object. For Out of the Valley, Florin Immobilien and Duravit in collaboration with Philippe Starck, we created bespoke branded pieces for their highest-end customers. A mark of trust that we do not take lightly.

With baetulī, founded by Hagar and Jonathan, longtime friends of the studio, we developed an ultralight, slim bag in vegan apple leather and paracord. It has stayed in our collection ever since.

Working together

If you are a brand or creative with a project that feels like a genuine fit, we would be glad to hear from you. We take on collaborations selectively and with care. But when the connection is right, the results tend to be something neither of us could have made alone.
